Here at Rez Design Studios, our aim is to look after our clients by taking them through the necessary steps and continually speaking their build into fruition. Regardless of whether it is a commercial or residential project, the RDS approach is to carefully consider all factors that is desired by the client, by undertaking thorough research and collaborating with our list of relevant and experienced external consultants.
The Design Process
Concept Design
During this stage, we take the time to arrange a one-on-one consultation, discussing your ideas and requirements. It is here, that we can grasp and begin to have any understanding of your project, whether that be a renovation, extension, or a new build, our creativity and excitement begins from here!
Design Development
Once the schematic design and concepts have been approved, the next step is to begin further developing and refining the project and the architectural plans provided. It is within this phase that external consultations and relevant authorities can begin to collaborate. We also take the time to discuss budgets and a proposed timeline.
Town Planning or Developer Approvals
It is within this stage that our architectural drawings must comply with the local legislation, standards, and guidelines. The town planning phase (if required) will include preparation of drawings and supporting documentation that will be sent for approval/endorsement. As our clients, you will be notified and kept consistently updated throughout this phase.
Documentation
During this stage, we use advanced CAD software to produce high quality architectural drawings and renders. By developing the architectural drawings and supporting documentation to obtain relevant permits, it is here that drawings will give you a clear indication of how the final outcome will transpire.
